What's new for 2011........

New tweaked outline on the Mutilator model is getting quite the review. I moved the wide point forward a pinch and thinned the tail some...The result was to smooth the flow and transition.

Also a new bottom design is in the works and will be dubbed the "Phazer". This is a Pro-style bottom that is a light double in single concave forward that runs into a a full single concave through the tail out the back with some added flip to the tail block. Very crisp hard rail line makes this design super responsive with that Knife-like carving ability.

New for 2011 from "Hangar 18 COR*EPS" Superfused Foam will be the "Low Entry" blanks. New blanks will be the SK61LE , SK64LE and the SK67LE (Super Krokus Low Entry). Low entry and added tail rocker make these blanks perfect for ease of paddling and early entry. Also a new blank available is the 8OH, 8' longboard blank designed for low entry noserider type longboards in the 8 ft. range. Used exclusively for the Star Cruiser 8' 0" Model.

The Texas Toast gets a facelift and new name...The ORB features a slightly fuller nose outline and flatter rocker. Crucial design elements include the fat and sassy rails and tail coupled with Future Scimitar thruster fin set. Gravity WARP Drive is also standard on the ORB!

Stringers are now available in 1/8" black PVC as well as the standard 1/4" Mahogany ply.

All design work is done in Shape 3D and the template files are saved. Templates are plotted and drawn by hand to the exacting dimensions and the shape is still ..well "Shaped" by Krokus.
